Susan Cowden is a marriage and family therapist who is passionate about a number of topics including eating disorders, body-image issues, self-harm, anxiety, depression, postpartum issues, stress surrounding infertility, parenting, and relationship concerns.
Experience:
Susan Cowden has worked with eating disorders on both an inpatient and outpatient basis since completing graduate school. She most recently practiced at Renew Counseling Center and is currently taking a hiatus from seeing clients. She has also completed advanced training in Family Based Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa at the University of Chicago and is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy as well as a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders.
Education:
Susan has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University.
