"I Feel Uncomfortable After Eating Sweets"

Your discomfort may be physical or mental. Physical discomfort can occur with any food that a person hasn't eaten for a while: The body needs to readjust. Mental discomfort is often the result of guilt, which results from "rules" that bounce around in your head ("Sugar is bad," or "I'll need to exercise more today because I ate that").

Both kinds of discomfort result from deprivation, which is a key ingredient in the formation of an eating disorder.
