Where Can I Find Eating Disorder Treatment?
Deciding to seek treatment for an eating disorder is a huge step and the process of finding the right therapist and/or treatment center for you can seem overwhelming. Here are resources to help.

Academy for Eating Disorders
An international organization for professionals which hosts an annual conference and publishes the International Journal of Eating Disorders.

National Eating Disorders Association
A non-profit organization whose purpose is to support individuals and families affected by eating disorders. They provide information on eating disorders, support funding for research and campaign for the prevention of eating disorders.

F.E.A.S.T. - Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders
An international organization for parents and caregivers. Supports the use of evidence based treatment and provides information, a community forum and a treatment directory.

Maudsley Parents
A volunteer organization of parents who have used family based treatment to help their children recover from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Provides information regarding the use of family based treatment including questions & answers about FBT and links to full-text research articles.

International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals
Organization for professionals who treat and research eating disorders. Provides an annual symposium as well as a certification process for professionals.
